1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

 

I understand that axe throwing involves inherent risks, including cuts, bruises, serious injury, slips, trips, falls, injury caused by axes or equipment, and injury caused by other participants.

 

I understand that these risks cannot be completely eliminated, even when appropriate safety procedures are followed.

 

2. SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY

 

I agree to follow all safety instructions, rules and directions given by Flying Iron Co Ltd.

 

I will use the axes and equipment only as instructed and will not enter a throwing area or retrieve an axe unless instructed that it is safe to do so.

 

I understand that Flying Iron Co Ltd may immediately stop my participation if I act unsafely, fail to follow instructions or put myself or others at risk.

 

3. FITNESS & MEDICAL CONDITIONS

 

I confirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating safely.

 

I will tell a member of staff before participating if I have any injury, medical condition or other circumstance that may affect my ability to participate safely.

 

4. ALCOHOL & DRUGS

 

I confirm that I am not under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs or any other substance that could impair my judgement, coordination or ability to participate safely.

 

Flying Iron Co Ltd may refuse or stop my participation if staff reasonably believe that I am intoxicated or otherwise unfit to participate.

 

5. LIABILITY

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I accept responsibility for risks inherent in axe throwing and for any injury, loss or damage resulting from my own actions, negligence, misconduct or failure to follow safety instructions.

 

I agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Flying Iron Co Ltd, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, instructors and representatives will not be liable for injury, loss or damage arising from risks inherent in the activity or from my own actions.

 

Nothing in this waiver excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UK law.

 

6. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

 

I understand that I am responsible for my personal belongings while attending Flying Iron Co Ltd. I accept that Flying Iron Co Ltd is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to my belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

 

7. PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO

 

Photography and video may take place during sessions and events. I consent to Flying Iron Co Ltd using photographs or video footage of me for promotional, advertising and social media purposes.​

8. Participants Under 18

​

A parent or legal guardian must complete the waiver and provide consent where required by Flying Iron Co Ltd.

I agree to follow all safety instructions and accept responsibility for my own actions.
